About Vör Analytics

  Vör Analytics was founded by Tom Curragh in 2020 to provide pro-bono analytics services to business and charities that had been adversely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Since then we have grown to provide fee paying services to clients, but we also continue to provide pro-bono services to those in need. 

We provide a variety of analytics and business modelling services to clients, with extensive experience working with Finance, Strategy, Risk and Marketing functions. 

Having experience of finance, business strategy and data analytics, we are uniquely placed to help enhance your business by using analytics to address your matters facing your business and create value.

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2015 and, always having a passion for working with data, my career soon moved into working in Analytics. 

I have since had 10 years of experience working with companies and charities across various sectors, building in-house analytics teams and deploying analytics to help understand their business, make decisions and set strategy. 

My experience of working both in Finance/Business Strategy and Analytics has given me unique experience to go beyond the usual finance analysis, planning and strategy roles: I am able to deploy analytics to add additional value.

In 2020 I completed a Masters (MSc) in Behavioural Economics. This has given me unique insights into understanding human behaviour, how we process information and how we make decisions. I am able to use these insights as part of project work to help organisations better understand their customers and stakeholders. Furthermore, understanding how humans process information and make decisions, I am able to use this to communicate insights effectively and to advise on how decision-making can impact important business matters, such as removing bias in forecasts.

I work with a variety of analytics tools: Power BI and Tableau for dashboards, Python and R for programming, along with Alteryx, Power Query and Excel.
